Senior Academics

So that the doctoral graduates of DBA in Management degree are able to show competency in management research, peer reviews and research supervision at postgraduate level

Business Consultants

The public and private sector organizations require research support to take important strategic decisions, so that doctoral graduates with DBA in management can engage in research consulting service to offer analytical support in order to resolve complex problems, so as to facilitate smooth business operations within the organization. Hence, the doctoral graduates can opt for a consulting career upon completion of this program.

Senior Level Management Positions

Doctoral graduates of the DBA in Management can acquire jobs at very senior level positions in management within the organization or outside particularly focusing on research activities; with the help of decision making skills, research skills so as to apply advanced management theories to resolve pragmatic problems thereof.

Dissertation and Viva

Word Count of the Dissertation; DBA in Management:

The dissertation should carry no less than 60,000 words and the same should not exceed 80,000 words.

Dissertation examiners:

Two Internal Examiners: These two Internal Examiners will be from Sri Lanka who have Ph.D in the same or a related field AND another examiner is from the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia

Viva Voce:

There will be three examiners in the Viva Voce; two are from Sri Lanka and the other one is from the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia. The student is facing the Viva Voce along with his/her Sri Lankan Co-supervisor and the Principal Supervisor.

Note: This is a blended approach Viva Voce where Video Conferencing is used so as to connect with the academics of the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia.

Entry Requirements

Master’s Degree or higher qualification obtained from a recognized university/ higher educational institution or

Any other qualifications equivalent to Masters Level acceptable to the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia or

Admission to the DBA degree program can be considered resting on case-by-case basis; evidence of degrees, professional experience and research experience in the field of management shall be the main criteria therein
